Cheryl Renfree Scott RN, PhD, IBCLC works as the Senior Inpatient Lactation Consultant for a large HMO in northern California, USA. She has been working in women and children’s health for the past 25 years, seventeen years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse, eight years as in-patient lactation consultant at Kaiser. She is an active member for Kaiser Lactation Consultants Association and serves on their Executive Committee. Dr. Renfree conducted a national survey assessing the usage of herbal galactagogues of lactation specialists in the United States, for her doctoral research project in partial fulfillment for her doctorate in natural health. Dr. Renfree resides in the California, USA, in the gold country in the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
